The flight ticket refund is provided when a flight is canceled 14 days prior to departure and an alternative flight is not offered: the passenger is entitled to a compensation which goes from €250 to €600, depending on the route.

- for flights up to 1500 kilometres (for example: Rome to Paris), a refund of €250 is provided

The compensation request can be submitted if the following requirements are fulfilled
- the airline is responsible for the cancellation of the flight;
- The passenger has checked in within the time allowed;
- The flight departed from the eu or landed in the EU (in the first case, the nationality of the airline does not matter; in the second case, it has to be an airline with legal residence in the EU)
- The flight was canceled within 24 months from the time of the request.
